Historical Unity

The problem with the hysterical unity of Russia is that it is much like the hysterical unity of any other nation state. There are too many delusional people who believe in a golden age that never really existed, and they are willing to slaughter anybody who does not share their delusion. Historically, if you go back in time far enough, none of them existed in the first place.

Fungible

A synonym for the word fungible is replaceable. So the term non-fungible token means it is a token that cannot be replaced. One electromagnetic pulse and it is gone forever. The money that people gave Donald J. Trump for his fantasy cards is gone, eaten by his god of debt.

I dropped Twitter today. It was not improving my writing, more of a distraction really. There is Facebook, Instagram, Tribel, Post, and atotalsolidwaste.wordpress.com if anybody is interested. Maybe I will get one piece written that will get back into physical print. I remember the days of typing out hard copy, mailing it to editors, and getting silence and rejection slips in the mail weeks later, need to get back to that. The web is pretty much just silence or a nibble of derision. The CRT or LCD with a keyboard can be useful, but like the “real” world, it is filled with illusions.
